Based on my knowledge there are two solutions for your problem. Harry potter movies in hindi free download 8 part hd. To get things straight: The original Xbox-pads won't work out of the box with your PS3 and no solution will provide 100% of the features your dualshock-pads have (Sixaxxis, Trigger etc.). Use an Adapter There are some Adapters on the market (like the which Blem mentioned) which may be pretty pricy, but let you use your Xbox-pads on your PS3. The XCM does not allow you to use sixaxxis and I don't know any adapter which has this feature. Maybe someone who is using this (or another) adapter and can provide more precise information. Use an cheaper 3rd party gamepad A second way to play on your PS3 with an Xbox-like pad is to buy 3rd partie hardware which can be used on your PS3.
I bought the pad, which can be used on the PC and the PS3. The Deadzones of the sticks are not as perfect as they are on the regular dualshocks, but you'll get used to it. Besides that the pad is wireless, so you don't have any wires through your livingroom (the XCM Adapter only works for the wired pad!). There is one little catch with the speedlink-pad with it's triggerbuttons: Why can’t I operate the trigger buttons (R2 and L2) at the same time?
These two buttons’ signals are on the same axis. As such, they cancel each other out when both buttons are pressed at the same time. This gives you optimal control in many games. Alternatively, select the button assignment in the game so that both trigger buttons don’t need to be pressed at the same time. Overall this specific pad is not as good as one of the original pads (Xbox / PS3), but is a good and cheap way to play with a Xbox-like pad on your PS3 (or PC).
Do you find it hard to steer your mouse and hit the right keyboard key to play PC games? If you happen to have PS3 controllers, why not use them as Joysticks to play games? Image by Before we begin, head over to to install the required drivers for Windows. The installer comes for both x86 (32-bit operating system) and x64 (64-bit operating system), so make sure you download the right installer for your system. If you are in doubt, just go to Start - Control Panel – System, to verify your system settings. Once you have downloaded the installer, unzip it, and execute the.exe file to start the installation. The installation begins with a standard welcome screen, and ends with asking you to run the software.
Plugin your PS3 controller to your USB port, and you should see a small icon on your system tray, showing you that Windows is installing drivers for your controller. At this point, even though your controller will be recognized in the “Game Controllers”, Windows will not recognized the buttons movement. Open the DS3 tool, and press the “Load Driver” button. Windows will warn you that it can’t verify the publisher of the driver; don’t worry, MotionInJoy’s drivers are safe for us to install.
Your PS3 controller is ready for use when you see a message: “SUCCESS: Install Completed”. Click the “Profile” button, and you should see that your controller appears under the “Connected game controller(s)” drop down list. You can click on the Vibration Testing button, to test that Windows recognizes your controller. We recommend that you open your “Game Controller Settings” from Start Menu → Devices and Printers → right click on “HID-compliant game controller” → select “Game controller setting”, to calibrate your PS3 controller. Click on the “Properties” button to calibrate your controller. Guess what, MotionInJoy not only enable you to use your PS3 controller via USB, you can even use it as Joystick via Bluetooth.
Click the “BlueToothPair” button, and click the “Pair Now” button, and your Windows should pair with your PS3 controller. Disconnect your controller from the USB cable, head back to the profile page, and click the “Vibration Testing” button. If your controller is vibrating, this means that your PS3 controller is now connected to your Bluetooth. Now you can sit back, relax, and kill those zombies with your PS3 controllers. MotionInJoy works with games that support JoySticks, and they have verified the software with a bunch of. I'm thinking of geting a gamepad for racing/flying/platformer games. My immediate choice was an Xbox 360 wireless controller, but that was just because of the (supposed) ease of hooking it up to Windows. I'm a pure PC gamer, so I don't have a clue about either controller type, or any other gamepads out there (Logitech?). Does anyone have any recommendations for a gamepad, keeping features, ease of use, game compatilibty, battery life, etc. Being able to hook up the controller up with an Android phone is a bonus (the PS3 controller wins here due to bluetooth as far as I understand). The 360 controller is more ergonomic than the PS3 controller, and it has native support for almost any PC game that supports a gamepad. You just plug it in and the drivers get installed automatically, easy and painless.

For the PS3 controller, you would have to download the MotioninJoy drivers to get it to work on your PC. Once you do that though, just enable the 360 emulator mode from the control panel and your PS3 controller will act as a 360 controller (it'll have the same compatibility and everything). MotioninJoy also supports Bluetooth functionality, although it doesn't work well with a lot of Bluetooth adapters. You'd have to look on their wiki to see which adapters are supported and which aren't. One thing that needs to be said about the 360 controller though is that the d-pad is atrocious. Truly useless for any game that relies on it, such as fighters/retro games/platformers.
On the other hand, the PS3 d-pad is fantastic for those types of games. As far as those Logitech controllers go, they used to be good. I used to have the Logitech Rumblepad 2, which was an awesome PC gamepad. They discontinued those awhile ago though in favor of their new F310/F510/F710 gamepads, which are terrible. The analog sticks on their new gamepads suffer from serious dead zone issues which make them impossible to use in any kind of racing/shooter games (the sticks don't register any movement until you move them at least 1/3 of the way from the center).
There's an eight page thread about it on the Logitech forums. I was in the same boat as you about a month ago, trying to decide between a 360 controller, a PS3 controller, and those new Logitech controllers. I ended up going with a PS3 controller + MotioninJoy and haven't looked back. I needed a controller with a good d-pad since I play a lot of retro/platformer/fighting games, so that ruled out the 360 controller. I also needed a controller with precise analog sticks, so that ruled out the Logitech controllers.
The PS3 controller has been working great for me so far, and the MotioninJoy driver is fantastic. My motherboard natively supports Bluetooth too, so I'm able to use that. One small caveat though as far as Bluetooth is concerned: MotioninJoy overrides any Bluetooth drivers that are installed on your PC.
This means that once you install MotioninJoy, you can only use Bluetooth for your PS3 controller and nothing else until you uninstall MotioninJoy. So if you use Bluetooth for any other devices (phones, keyboards, mice, etc) then it might not be a good idea to install MotioninJoy. Thanks for the detailed response! Looks like the PS3 controller is winning. A couple of questions about the PS3 controller: 1) Does it have rechargeable batteries, or doe sit use AA batteries like the xbox controller?
2) Do I have to buy any special cables/connects for it (other than bluetooth), or does it use a regular USB cable? 2.1) Is this cable included with PS3 controllers? 2.2) If the controller has rechargeable batteries, do they get charged through the USB cable? 3) Has anyone encountered any games that do.not. work well with a PS3 controller? Thanks for the detailed response! Looks like the PS3 controller is winning.

MasterYevon It has rechargeable batteries that get recharged when you connect the PS3 controller via usb and just download the drivers from Motion Joy and you'll be good to go. People will just point their favorite as always.
Like for me would be the PS3 controller, if you ask me the position of the A B X Y on the 360 controller I can't tell, not even by the colors. And you should keep that in mind because when a tutorial pops up it will be will the 360 keys, good news is you'll feel 6 years old all over again looking down at the controller trying to figure out the damn thing without a worry in the world.
As for the drivers and stuff, if you're a PC gamer it's nothing complicated. People will just point their favorite as always. Like for me would be the PS3 controller, if you ask me the position of the A B X Y on the 360 controller I can't tell, not even by the colors.

Sounds like a legitimate reason /sarcasm.
The ergonomics of each is largely a matter of personal preference. I use both interchangably and TBH I don't have a favorite. There was mention of d-pad issues but if I'm playing a game that requires d-pad then I use an arcade stick instead. The wireless option for the 360 requires the 360 Controller Wireless Receiver while the PS3 controller requires a Bluetooth receiver, which if you are running a desktop you may not have. PS3 rechargable batteries are built in whereas the 360 controller has a 'charge and play' kit, although to be fair that's bundled with most versions of wireless controller these days.
One additional point I'll make in favor of the 360 controller is about the native support. If you have to program a game to use a controller that it's not familiar with, sometimes limitations in what the game allows you to set will prevent you from getting a console-like control experience. When designing a game for the 360, devs -have- to figure out how to make every game function accessible from the 360 controller so they'll do little tricks like make the buttons context sensitive, program button combinations to perform different functions or program the button to behave differently depending on how long it's held. If you have to program this yourself for another controller, then you are at the mercy of the game's ability to configure custom controls.
Some games simply do not handle this well and you might not be able to map every function to a button on another controller. When a PC game supports the 360 controller natively, the game will nearly always use the control map that was designed for the 360 version of the game so you know you are covered.

MasterYevon 1. It has built-in rechargeable lithium ion batteries, so you never have to replace or change them. Fully charged, the batteries will last for about 30-40 hours before you need to recharge them, which is nice. Other than a Bluetooth adapter (if you want BT), all you need is the compatible mini-USB cable which is used to recharge the controller. Unfortunately, you have to buy this separately.
As long as you use MotioninJoy and set it to emulate a 360 controller, the compatibility of the PS3 controller will be exactly the same as a 360 controller. Any game that supports a 360 controller will support the PS3 controller. You don't need xpadder or any of the other programs that other people are mentioning. Just MotioninJoy. From personal experience with MotioninJoy and my PS3 controller, I've never run into any issues with any games. Get a wired 360 controller. It will save you a lot of hassle and it has support on PC unlike the PS3 controller so you don't have to mess with programs like xpadder.
